Berry Lily (Potted Pink Lily and Kokina Arrangement)

Berry Lily (Potted Pink Lily and Kokina Arrangement) - Heryerbitki

Berry Lily is a New Year arrangement that pairs a potted pink lily with kokina. 2 kokina stems, a pine cone and a red bauble are placed at the base of the lily; the pot is wrapped in green and orange paper and tied with an orange satin ribbon. The lily may be sent in bud or in bloom depending on the season. Our kokina is made from real branches and berries gathered from nature; no artificial materials are used. Carefully prepared by our professional florists.

Why Is Kokina Given as a Gift?

The name kokina comes from the Greek word “kokkino”, meaning red, and it is given as a symbol of luck for the new year. Legend has it that whoever keeps a gifted kokina for a year will own a home before the year ends. See all our designs on our kokina flower page.

Care Tips

• Place the lily in a bright spot away from direct sunlight.
• Water lightly when the soil dries; do not let water collect at the bottom of the pot.
• Removing the pollen anthers from open flowers prevents pollen stains on leaves and fabrics.
• The kokina berries and pine cone are decorative and not edible; keep them away from children and pets.
